Boone Meeting

October 5, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

$35

Re-Wilding Iowa: The Council of All Beings. Learn about Iowa’s Wildlife Action Plan. Be inspired by a display of artwork about environmental issues. Come to the meeting and be energized to make a difference for our natural heritage. As part of the Council of All Beings, you will be asked to step aside from your human identity and speak on behalf of another life-form living in Iowa. This will heighten awareness of our interdependence in the living body of Earth, and to strengthen our commitment to defend it. Dr. Jean Eells, from Webster City, will be leading the Council. Children and Non-members are encouraged to attend.  RSVP by September 27. You can register online at www.sierraclub.org/iowa/2019-annual-meeting

Cost: $35.00 per person, which includes lunch. Optional, overnight. If you want to stay overnight on October 5, Clover Woods offers bunk beds for $7.00 a night. Bring your own bedding.

Bring: Bring a mask of a plant, animal, or natural feature in Iowa. Participate in the book exchange. Bring any environmental and nature-related books you would like to donate to others, and take some home with you after the event.
